Always a great meal at May Kelly's. Always fast, friendly and courteous service. The owners are very lovely people and they have a terrific staff working there! Should be 10 stars, May Kelly's is phenomenal!!
Love May Kelly's! We always make it a point to stop there when we're in Conway. This last visit was exceptional. We left Story Land at closing and anyone familiar with the Conway area knows you can't get near any of the restaurants at dinner time. My daughter ran into May Kelly's, fully expecting at least an hour's wait. She was told to come right in. We were seated immediately, 10 of us, including 6 kids. We had our own little room. They were so accommodating. The food was great and the service was outstanding. We'll be back !
Amzing view from the patio and pretty good service. We ordered the baked clams for an app and they were awesome! But our main dishes were nothing to write home about. my meatloaf was so dry even covered in gravy and the potatoes were bland. My husband chicken looked good... but lacked flavor. After having the clams we were really looking forward to dinner. Maybe an off day for the chef :(
Alcohol selection could have been better for an Irish restaurant, and the one cider they had on the menu was only so-so.
The food was decent, large portions but not the highest attention on quality. Their salmon special served a massive piece of salmon, but the rest of the dish was lacking in vibrancy. One of our party was vegetarian/vegan, and they really couldn't get anything. What a NEAT looking place though, the entrance winds around through halls completely decorated with random pieces(mostly all Irish focused) that will keep you entertained during your 15-30 minute wait, which you most likely will have.
Always a wonderful experience at May Kelly's Cottage. The eclectic Irish atmosphere, delicious home cooked fare, cheerful and knowledgeable staff and of course Mary herself there welcoming you like an old friend. By far the best restaurant experience in the Mount Washington Valley.
