Great portions for the price, great margaritas and great atmosphere
But this is the 2nd time I've been there in about five years and both times the food was excellent. Many places either over season the food believing more is better or under season it for fear of being too spicy. Cafe Noche gets it just right. I will go back next time I"m in Conway.
The decor is a bit cliched but it's par for a Mexican restaurant.
I usually judge a Mexican restaurant the minute I walk in the door by how many Latinos are working or dining there. This being NH, I saw none.
Well let's see, we only got one refill for our waters the entire time. All three of our "chicken" meals were pork. The margaritas were water and there was no apology for the awful drink or an attempt to make a better one. After our waitress Leah took the drink back they starting laughing about it. I didn't get my change back for my bill. I would recommend to keep on driving because it looks cool but it was a definite bad experience.
Not the best service. Waiter forgot our orders, had to be prompted several times for basics amenities such as water/chips/salsa, gave us incorrect food from what we ordered, did not know how to split a check between small party, most of the items we wanted to order were out of stock, and he placed us next to open door on cold night. The food is edible but do not expect decent TexMex. Alternative when Moat and other breweries or BBQ restaurants are full in North Conway. Away from the main hustle and bustle of North Conway, NH. The benefit because it is not popular or main location there is plenty of street parking.
This place looks really cool. That's the best thing I can say about it, ordered chicken and beef enchiladas gave us pork same issue with the burrito tasted sweet and gross with hard as bone chunks in it. Ordered a margarita the first one was alright, ordered a second one to try to get something from it, and the second one was like water and so bad I sent it back. Waitress was rude bartender and waitress didn't even apologise for the awful drink and in fact we could here him go WHAT! And then they laughed about it. We were one of the only ones there and still took forever to get water refills. Would definitely suggest not going here.
