They do not care who buys as long as they get paid! As the Park owner
Here is the deal my mom has lived in this park for more years than I can count. She recently lost her husband. She decided to it was time to move into a retirement community. When she let the owner, John Schiavi, (Schiavi Properties) of the park know her intention to sell her home he decided it was time to be a control freak. He put all kinds of unnecessary obstacles in her way to try to make it impossible to sell her home. With the help of many friends and family members she overcame all of those ridiculous requirements she found a cash buyer for her home. This crooked owner then rejected the buyer saying their credit report was not high enough and they had not had their job long enough. So my mom then went back to trying to sell her home again. This last week she secured a second cash buyer....Guess what..yup same response from this control freak, not high enough credit score. Obviously, this man has another agenda. You might ask what is that. I am not sure, but this much I can guarantee it is based in greed. I would recommend that you never do business with this man because all he is doing is trying to swindle my mom after she paid him faithfully for many, many years.
We must be doing something right!
His Mother has lived in our community for several years and was an excellent resident! When she indicated that she wanted to sell, we did a home inspection to indicate what needed to be done before the sale, such as fix damaged skirting and remove a delapadated shed.
It is our responsibilty to make sure that every home is maintained to a certain standard in order to protect the value of every resident's home.
The first buyer presented to us had a bad credit score and a criminal record, not the type of resident that would be compatable with our resident mix!
Keep in mind that a seller is only motivated to sell and move out.
As the owner of the Park, you need to hear "the rest of the story" This person is correct,
The second buyer did meet our qualifications and was accepted!
