An awesome selection of unique coffee and tea creations, as well as baked goods. The coffee house also doubles as an art gallery displaying different artists. Additionally, the free fruit infused water was a nice plus.

If you lost that much money, would you be concerned, Maize? You'd be hunting and searching for those funds. Now, you want to blame The Met for gross misunderstanding of the law and you are in a foreign country. Consequently, you must follow the applicable property law. And, you didn't comment on the service, the business, or the food and beverages. Instead, you have made negative remarks concerning the policies concerning lost money. You need to educate yourself before you start erroneously throwing stones!

So, Maize, if i travel to Canada, what laws are applicable? That is a rhetorical question because the laws of Canada would apply and I would need to education myself on such regulations.

Fantastic drinks, friendly and quick service. This place has some wonderful seating areas upstairs, behind the counter, and out front on the sidewalk. Just be careful if you sit out front, there are a lot of bees that tend to swarm sweet drinks.

I am responding to Maize St John who provided a negative review based upon found money. I am a lawyer, and $100 bill is NOT abandoned money; it is lost. Therefore, neither you nor your child has any right to these funds until it is determined that it is abandoned property. The Met followed proper protocol by holding the money in escrow.

The coffee was very good but I am a little upset with management of this shoppe. My 5 year old daughter found a $100 bill on the ground and proceeded to show the cashier. As the cashier was about to give the money back to my daughter since "finders keepers" truly makes sense in this matter, in my opinion; the manager proceeded to come over and investigate what was going on. He then kept the money and give my little girl a useles sticker! I totally understand the importance of showing positive morals to your kids but there is no way anyone is coming back for a lost $100 bill. When nobody comes back, what will happen with that money then?

Some of the best coffee I've ever had in my life. I had a iced pecan pie latte. Would recommend in a heartbeat. Can't wait to try their other lattes! Decent prices, great art, and comfy chairs. Oh, and free WiFi! Love this place!
